SAMT is a pioneer in producing scientific and cultural university textbooks in Iran

“SAMT is a pioneer in producing scientific and cultural university textbooks in Iran. We want to benefit from its valuable experiences in Iraq”, said Yasser Abdul Zahra al-Hajjaj.

Yasser Abdul Zahra al-Hajjaj, the Cultural Advisor of the Republic of Iraq and accompanied delegation paid a visit to SAMT and had a meeting with the officials of the Management of the International Scientific Cooperation of SAMT.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Shohreh Roghani, the Manager of the International Scientific Cooperation, Dr. Seyed Rasoul Mousavi, the Advisor to the President of SAMT in International Affairs, Ms. Sana, Deputy for Administrative and Mr. Al-Khayat, Director of Academic Relations and Research Institutes of Cultural Centers of Republic of Iraq in Tehran.

During the meeting Dr. Mousavi, welcomed the Iraqi delegation and said SAMT is interested in developing its cooperation with Iraq and will do its best in implementing the MOU signed between the Organization for Researching and Composing University Textbooks in the Humanities (SAMT) and the Ministry of Higher Education of Iraq.

SAMT has honestly fulfilled its obligations to Iraq, although it faced some problems, it should define and determine the mechanism for action in order to continue its cooperation in the future in the light of the gained experiences.
The Iraqi cultural adviser, Yasser Abdul Zahra al-Hajjaj, first congratulated the victories on terrorism in Iraq  and the eradication of the evil  ISIL family, and expressed his gratitude to the Iranian people, referring to the great event of Arbaeen, said "In Arbaeen, we saw the power of the great nations of Iran and Iraq. Iraq is interested in expanding its educational and research ties with Iran. Maintaining the connection of Iraq with Iran in the fields of science and culture is necessary. "

He called SAMT organization a pioneer in producing scientific and cultural university textbooks in Iran and added "We look at SAMT from the strategic dimension in Iraq and we want to benefit from its valuable experiences during more than 30 years  in making changes and developing the Humanities as a consequence of Cultural Revolution in Iran.
